Digital Campaigns @ Vistara

Conceptualisation, Ideation & Design

This project showcases a number of digital campaigns executed for the brand, Vistara. While they were all in-line with what was conceptualised for the brand's overall marketing communication, my focus was to ideate & come up with creative ways of digitally amplifying the same via the website, e-mailers, social and other digital media.

#FlyingFeelsSafeAgain

In the year 2020, when the pandemic hit the world the airline was grounded for a very long time. People became scared of traveling and were apprehensive in taking a flight once the lockdown was lifted. This project focused on developing communication that would time and again help reiterate to the passengers that it was safe to fly as Vistara was taking into account the best sanitisation practices.  

 

Creatives for communication ranged from website collaterals, to emailers and explainer videos for social media.

#ExperienceTheDream

In march 2020, Vistara received the country's first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.

#ExperienceTheDream was a digital campaign that addressed this new milestone. As a part of the campaign a series of digital teasers were prepared. These were designed by undertaking innovative execution styles that involved an interaction between the aircraft and the UI element of the platform. The teaser campaign ran for 3 days across social media channels, paid digital inventories and on outdoor digital & print sites.

The idea was to use an element of the aircraft and make it pop out of its defined boundary to offer a surreal experience. Initially, 3 different teasers were prepared for social media which were then extended across platforms such as Times of India website take over, outdoor hoardings and outdoor digital spaces.

AR Filter Concept

An augmented reality filter for Facebook & Instagram was prepared so as to create buzz around the new aircraft. 

The execution was simple, when a user pointed their camera the aircraft approached towards them and then flew away revealing the campaign hashtag.

While this filter is a work in progress concept only, you can see few samples of the same.

#FlyingIn321

After the Dreamliner, Vistara next brought in it's first A321neo aircraft which became South Asia's first with a 3-cabin class configuration. With lie-flat beds in business class, luxurious space in the premium economy class cabin and personal seat back entertain devices ; the interiors of this product became the primary talking points for the campaign. #FlyingIn321 included a series of communication for social media that stressed on these features.

Cabin Wise Videos

A series of three cabin wise videos were created. Each video highlights the USPs of the cabin class. These were then run across social media, the website and other digital media.
